Much like the rap game, wrestling is so watered down these days. WWE is TV-PG now.. they've went back to the 80's getting all the kids involved. As fans do to heels, BOOOOOOOOO! Damn do I miss "the golden era" which was 1996-2001 IMO.. nWo in WCW, the "attitude era" in WWF.. the Monday night wars Extreme Championship Wrestling.. all that!
Ah man lets plan The Rock vs John Cena a year in advance cuz that's such a great idea. Good one WWE writing staff.. gimmie a break! What the hell were y'all thinking? Oh yeah, guessing The Rock will have another bad movie to promote by then...
TNA, y'all ain't doing much better these days. Trying to copy everything WWE does.. I can remember when most of your show was actually wrestling. Good wrestling too.. now seems like half of your show is interviews and lame storyline development. "The Network" gimmick is so 2004.. the Jarrett/Karen Angle wedding is so 1994. Get a clue.
But for some reason, I still watch WWE & TNA. Albeit via DVR so I can fast forward through the boring parts which here lately is most of the show. I guess I'm just holding out hope that one day both products will get better.
Everything goes through cycles.. hopefully will be the same in this case.
